The Taylor Bent Chace Fund for Athlete Development
The University of New Hampshire's Disabled Student-Athlete Program, the first of its kind in the nation, meets the demand for college-level sports training for athletes with disabilities. In fact, UNH recruits student athletes with disabilities who may wish to pursue one or more sports, including sled hockey, Nordic and Alpine skiing, quad rugby and power soccer.
The Taylor Bent Chace '11 Fund for Athlete Development was established to support the Athlete Development Program of Northeast Passage at UNH. With your help the Fund will create opportunities for UNH students to work within this program to develop student athletes with disabilities. The benefits to these student athletes is not surprising . . . increased confidence, team involvement, improvement in physical health and fitness, better grades.
In an effort to give back to an organization which was instrumental in getting me and countless other student athletes, "back on their feet," I encourage you or your organization to support The Taylor Bent Chace Fund.
